EDL.GG Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Age Requirements

The Service is intended for users 13 years of age or older.

• If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• If you are under 13, you may not use the Service under any circumstances, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

2. Scope of License

EDL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

This license does not permit you to:

• copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or exploit the Service;
• scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data or content;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with Service functionality;
• use the Service to create a competing product.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by EDL.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Service — including designs, text, statistics, graphics, logos, software, and compilations — is owned by or licensed to EDL and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

Unauthorized use of EDL intellectual property may result in termination of access and legal action.

4. User Accounts

Certain features may require account registration.

You agree to:

• provide accurate and current information;
• maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

EDL may suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

5. User-Generated Content

a. Ownership and License

You retain ownership of content you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant EDL a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

b. Content Standards

You agree not to submit User Content that:

• violates laws or regulations;
• infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
• is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory;
• contains malware, spam, or deceptive practices.

EDL may remove or restrict User Content at any time without notice.

6. DMCA Copyright Policy

EDL complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, submit a notice including:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work
2. Identification of the infringing material
3. Your contact information
4. A statement of good-faith belief
5. A statement under penalty of perjury
6. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• impersonate another person or entity;
• interfere with Service security or infrastructure;
• use automated tools or bots without permission;
• attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
• use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent activity.

Violations may result in immediate termination.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to third-party websites or content. EDL does not control or endorse third-party services and is not responsible for their content or practices.

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

9. Advertising and Monetization

EDL may display advertisements or sponsored content. EDL does not guarantee the accuracy of advertiser claims and is not responsible for transactions between users and advertisers.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

To the fullest extent permitted by U.S. law, EDL disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

• merchantability,
• fitness for a particular purpose,
• accuracy, reliability, or availability.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

• EDL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
• EDL’s total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount paid by you to EDL in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater.

Some states do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EDL, its owners, affiliates, and employees from claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from:

• your use of the Service;
• your violation of these Terms;
• your User Content.

13. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver (U.S.)

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, not in court.

You waive the right to participate in:

• class actions,
• class arbitrations,
• representative claims.

Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first using the Service by emailing legal@edl.gg.

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of [Insert State], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Where arbitration is not required, disputes shall be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in that state.
